Graduation

Lexie, Baker and Brandon taking the gift to Mama Nee

Surprise!

Oh how they love her!

Baker, Lexie and Brandon graduated from Mama Nee's this summer. It was so hard - I think more on the parents than anything. We know the kids have a new and exciting chapter approaching (which they have all approached happily for the last 2.5 months - yes I am STILL behind) but they have been with Mama Nee since they were very young. Baker was only 3 months old and left when he turned 5. Luckily though, Mama Nee (Renee) will be in our lives forever! Thank you Mama Nee for helping our kids grow into such wonderful kids!

Deception Pass

This is what happens when you leave the toddler in the car while you unpack...she finds the M&M's

Frisbee time

Saturday morning. This beach is right behind our campsite

Headed up to the bridge

The Gang: Jeff, Baker, Yanna, Shane, Makenzie and Erika

The kids loved jumping between their bed and our bed

Another beach

We headed to Deception Pass for round 3 of camping. This time we brought our friends, Yanna and Jeff. This was Yanna's first camping trip...ever! I am pretty sure she had a blast and we enjoyed having some adult conversation and lots of smores cooking. The weather was perfect and we had a chance to explore all of the beaches and of course the bridge. What a great weekend!

That Cute Nephew of Ours

Chad and Gretchen love the outdoors so it made complete sense to us when they named their baby boy after one of their favorite places in Alaska...Hatcher Pass. Here the Stiteler family is out for one of their many, many adventures! Miss you guys and that bundle of blue eyes!

The flager and the princess

We headed out on Jeff's boat for a day of sun and fun. We swam, water-skiied, wakeboarding and just chilled on the boat. Baker loved being the flagger and Makenzie loved jumping off the boat into the water. Both kids were such troopers since we were on the boat for 8 hours! Oops, kind of forgot we had munchkins that need to sleep and eat real food. But no complaints came from them. Thanks Jeff for taking us out!

Camping at Lake Wenatchee

Who is walking who?

Big Foot is on her way...
-
In August, we headed to Lake Wenatchee for a long weekend of camping. This was the 2nd adventure in camping over the summer. We had a great camping site - except we couldn't have a tent so 6 of us and 2 dogs slept in the RV....in August. It was a bit warm! But, the kids could run around and Baker was able to ride his bike around and around and around. The nights easily came to an end from sheer exhaustion. Can't wait for next year!
