Santa Came For Koda Too

Not only was Baker thrilled about his presents from Santa (it took him 7 hours to open them all - not because there were so many but because he wanted to play with each one for a very long time) but so was Koda! The elves really know what Koda likes....his blue squeaky bone! Thanks Santa for delivering them!
Stay tuned for A LOT of pictures from Christmas. Sorry, I just can't help myself....our son is just so darn cute and he really enjoyed it this year.

Oh Christmas Tree

Here is a before picture of the tree before Nana and Papa arrived....

And an after.....but to their credit they were bringing up gifts for Tristan and Karsten too. :)

Christmas Eve at Aunt Kay & Uncle Ron's

This was kind of our off year to be at Aunt Kay and Uncle Ron's for Christmas Eve, but with my parents coming up to celebrate Christmas in Bellingham it made it easy to go down. Almost everyone was there, except for the Maxwell's and Boswell's (Brad and Avery). But, Baker still managed to entertain himself. Daddy & Uncle Chad made sure to show him the ropes, I mean sticks, with pool. As always, it was another wonderful Clark gathering. We are lucky to be apart of such a close family!! And of course we can't wait for Summer and some "swimming" pool time. :)

Train Ride ~ With Christmas Lights

Grandma and Grandpa took us to the lighted train ride in Birch Bay last weekend! It was amazing to see 10 acres of lights. They advertise over 1 million lights...yep, I believe it! Baker was such a good boy in the freezing cold. He loved being on the train and looking at everything. The pictures don't do it justice! If you have a chance to go I highly recommend it.

Garrett and Emmett

Emmett at 5 months
Baker at 6 months
Baker's cousins Garrett and Emmett came for a visit. It was great to see them. Emmett is getting so big. He is 5 months old now and as you can see from the pictures looks a bit more like Baker than his own brother (Garrett is definetly a Clark....he looks just like his mom and cousin Shane with that crazy curly hair). Baker and Garrett had a great time together and it was great to see Deni too! Gretchen was still in town so she and Grandma came over to see the boys too.

Bowling Pin War

Baker and Aunt Gretchen started off bowling and then decided they didn't need the ball any longer. They were more creative with the pins. It was pretty cute because you really couldn't tell who was winning. If you ask Baker he will say he was the winner. Watch our Baker because Aunt Gretchen is a professional....Stay tuned to see if there is a rematch.

I Love You Aunt Gretchen

Baker sure does miss his Aunt Gretchen when she isn't home. He was in for such a treat when she came home for a short weekend. As you can see, the feeling is mutual.

2nd Annual Cookie Baking ~ With a Special Guest

Making perfect balls....

Helping place the kisses on top....

Perfection...

Baker loves to bake and it is so much more fun when Aunt Gretchen is home to help. Gretch made a quick weekend trip home for our 2nd annual cookie baking (last year Mom, Baker and me surprised her when we flew up to Alaska). It sure is great to have her home, we just need to make sure it becomes permanent. We look forward to seeing Uncle Chad in a week too! Baker misses and loves you both!

Erika ~ with a K

Let me tell you how shocked I was that I found these personalized stickers in Leavenworth. I have never seen anything like this, let alone with my name spelled correctly. Wow...only in Leavenworth.....

Leavenworth ~ Christmas Lighting Festival

All bundled up as it was a balmy 12 degrees

A little entertainment pre-festival

Alisa and me at our first wine tasting

The beautiful mountains on the way to the next wine tasting

This wine tasting wasn't free but was WELL worth it....the wine was fabulous...all 9 glasses.

Let the festivities begin....

Baker with Aunt Kay and Grandma

We went to Leavenworth for the annual Christmas Lighting Festival. It was beautiful and COLD. Unfortunately, Shane wasn't able to join us because of race team. But, cousin Alisa came along and we all had a great time. Us girls went to town a bit earlier in the day to do some shopping and looking while Uncle Ron and Jim stayed with Baker at the cabin. We all enjoyed the lights, even though it was darn cold (about 15 degrees). By the end our toes were frozen and Baker was ready for "runny mac and cheese".

Still Determined ~ Even At 20 Degrees

Baker was on a mission to play with his t-ball set. I told him that it was snowing outside and we couldn't play unless he got bundled up. So, he took it upon himself to find his boots (notice the pants hiked up to his knees) and new Seahawks hat from Nana and Papa and run outside (I barely got his coat on him). Then, he realized that the t-ball set had been put away so he starting taking the toys out until his found his bat.
