Bellingham Bells

Future pitcher!

Lawn rolling anyone?

What else is there to do on a beautiful night in Bellingham? How about going to a baseball game? We took Baker to the Bellingham Bells game against the Wenatchee Apple Sox. It wasn't as exciting at the Mariners (although the Bells won), but it was still a lot of fun!

Perfect ending to a perfect trip - chocolate ice cream

For my 30th birthday, my parents and Shane's parents surprised us with a trip to Orcas Island (or Orca Whale Island as Baker called it) for the weekend after my birthday. It was a very much needed, relaxing trip and also very special to us because we knew that it would be the last trip for just the 3 of us, before Baby Green arrives. Baker had a fantastic time playing and we had an amazing time watching our amazing son! We can't believe that he will be 3 next month, but really we can't believe that he won't be alone for much longer. Baker is truly an amazing child and we are so incredibly blessed. We can't wait to meet Baby Green and be just as blessed. We hope you enjoy our pictures from Orca Whale Island. And, I couldn't narrow it down - sorry - there were just so many good ones to choose from.

Hanging at the Park

Since Nana and Papa came up for my birthday, we decided to take Baker to the marina to ride his scooter! It was pretty cold, but Baker didn't care. He enjoyed every minute!!

Blogging Bug

Hi all!
I hope you haven't forgotten to stop by. I know that I am not very good about keeping up to date on our family blog, but I plan to update it with a ton of new stuff this week. We have a lot of stuff to put on there, so make sure you scroll down to the last posting that you saw. Wouldn't want you to miss out on anything :) I also need to remember that I can blog with just a comment, I don't have to have a reason. So, I will be better about that too. Like, keeping people posted on Baby Green! That will be one of the blog updates :)
Thanks for sticking with us and please keep checking us out. Also, please, please make comments, so that I know that people actually look at this thing. But, don't make a comment unless you really want to. :)

Cake and Presents

Thanks Mom and Pops

Thanks TJ!

There's my best present helping me blow out my candles
We did it!
Chaise Lounge, Laptop, External Hard drive, Laptop Bag and an Orca Whale?
I love presents and apparently so does my son. As you can see I was showered with wonderful gifts. I received beautiful flowers from my parents and my friend TJ who sent them to me to brighten my day (a pre-birthday gift). Then, my in-laws got me this great chaise lounge for the deck, my parents got me an external hard drive and my wonderful husband and son got me a new laptop! YAHOO!!! I love it! To go along with the laptop, Chad and Gretchen sent me a supercool computer bag. The best surprise, besides my new laptop :) was the trip that my 4 parents planned for Shane, Baker and me. We went to Orcas Island for the weekend. We were leaving on Friday and staying for the weekend. Stay tuned for those pictures! Thank you everyone for a great birthday! So far, being 30 is great!

Pre - 30 Couple Shot

Here are Shane and I at dinner celebrating my 30th birthday with our parents at The Steak House at Silver Reef Casino. Oh, it was just magnificent! It was wonderful to share an evening with my 4 parents and my handsome husband...kid free!
Thank you Carly and Andy for watching Baker. He had a blast!

30 Years of Birthday Cakes

A quick lesson by Grandma on icing the first cake
And he's off....what a professional

Here's where he tasted a little
The proud son...The Baker
Yes, it's true! Tomorrow (June 9th) I turn 30 years old. My parents came up on Saturday to help me celebrate with my wonderful in-laws and of course my 2 favorite boys and "Baby Green." 30 will be a memorable age. Not only are we blessed with an amazing almost 3 year old, but Baby Green will be welcomed into the family very soon. I was treated to a homemade German Chocolate Cake (my absolute favorite in the world) made by my precious son, with the help of his Grandma. As you can tell, he had one lesson on icing it and away he went. Thank you Lynn for helping Baker to make my very special 30th birthday cake! It was delicious!!! And, a very special thank you to my wonderful husband for letting me sleep in while you took Baker to Grandma's to make the cake. What a wonderful surprise!!!
