Fall Walk
Makenzie - 8 weeks; Ollie - 4 weeks = fast friends!
My friend Bethany and I got the kiddos together for a walk before the weather started to change. It was pretty chilly out, but Makenzie doesn't like to be bundled up very much (she gets that from her mother) while Ollie was very content in his warm bunting. The babes pretty much slept the whole time which was nice for Bethany and I to be able to chat. Aren't our kiddos just the cutest?

8 Weeks/ 2 Months - Whatever
Regardless it has gone way too fast! Here is our beautiful Makenzie after 8 weeks. Technically when we took these pictures last Tuesday she was 8 weeks, but according to the calendar she is 2 months today. And, sorry to disappoint, but no rubber band wrists yet Aunt Jen!
And, check out the link to see her published birth annoucement in the local newspaper:

Uncle Chad Meets His Niece
Chad was flying to a conference in Baltimore (from Alaska!!). He decided to extend his trip with a 1 week layover in Seattle to visit with his family and take a road trip to see his brother in Montana. On the way, he made a trip to Bellingham to meet his niece. The following week he came back to see his niece again and play with his favorite nephew. It was great to see him and have him spend some time with the kids.

Big Brother Duty
Baker is such a helper! He loves to help us out with Makenzie. With that being said, he always wants to help feed her. Well, since that is impossible 95% of the time I make sure to pump so he can feed her at least once (when he is in the mood - sometimes many days later). He is just such a good big brother and we are so proud of him and the adjustment that he has had to make.

Tuckered Out
Shane and I play pinochle (yes...we know!). Last month right before we were leaving our hosts house I decided to change Makenzie's diaper. When I turned around after changing her diaper and getting her pj's on, this is how I found her! She must have been tuckered out from all that card playing!

Renee and I took the kids to the Sudden Valley Fire Department for fire safety month. The kids had a great time checking out the fire engines, the ambulance and listening to the firefighters. We had a really great time. I love being able to go on these trips and spend time with the kids. I am sure going to miss it when I return to work.

Trick or Treat
Jake as a Hobo
Ben, the Fire Hydrant
Baker was joined by Gabe and Jake for trick or treating this year! They went non-stop to all the houses and had a great time! Renee and I wanted to keep going, but the kids were a bit tuckered out.
