Spring Break in AK

Those seals love fis

I want one!

Yep, he has on snow boots and his underwear - in 20 degree weather! Thank goodness for the long sleeves.

In the chicken coop

I think that is Omelet they are petting

Makenzie getting 1 of 2 eggs

Reminds me of Baker and Makenzie

Chewedon keeping Baker company for a much needed nap!

Makenzie loves to "mother" Hatcher

Proud Grandpa! Whenever we have all the kids together we like to get a picture of them with Grandpa....and we can't forget Grandma!

These grandparents love these kids so much! And, even though the kids live 2000 miles apart I think they are extremely close....thanks to Grandma and Grandpa. It is their goal to make sure that we all get to spend time together and have the kids interact with each other.

For Spring Break the kids headed with Grandma and Grandpa to Alaska for 10 days (I flew up the following Wednesday, sans Shane who had school and work). Ironically, Bellingham's spring break coinsided with Hatcher's 1st birthday, so we were all together to celebrate (those pics to come). It was snowing and sunny all in the same week. Basically my kids are happy anywhere.

Spring Skiing

Baker's first time on the chairlift!

At the top of the Heather chair. Here we go....

Go Baker Go

Thumbs up! Good sign :)

A little cuddling after a long day of skiing

After Hawaii we needed to get up to the mountain with the kids. Baker was a little nervous at first and feeling that his legs were 100%. But, after a few runs on the rope tow he was back to his stellar self. Shane took a break from race team and did a few runs on the tow with Makenzie and then took Baker on the chairlift. Baker didn't flinch and had an awesome time (his words - MOM, THAT WAS AWESOME). I love our little skiier. Can't wait for him to be on the race team!

2 Weeks in Heat!

He soooo wasn't interested in watching a movie since he had been awake since 3am!

Beer in one hand; babe in the other! And, he didn't manage to drop either :)

Hatcher the grabber!

Our little fish

Aren't they cute in their sun hats?

Baker, Shane and Chad catching some waves

She was in heaven when she found the banana plant!

Geared up and ready for the ocean - but a bit intimidated by the waves!

She wants to play with the big kids!

Doesn't she look like she is up to something???

To make breakfast a little less boring, Baker enjoyed Uncle Chad's iPhone

One of many, MANY sand castles!

Oh yes, getting sand out of the "cracks" was oh so much fun!

Impromptu family picture - we are a good looking bunch!

Might as well take some individual family pics while we are at it

I love the hair!

Aw...look at those proud grandparents!

Ok Grandpa, we can try these waves again!

Haha, Gotcha! No way!

My big fish!

Look at all those freckles! He must be our kid!

We headed to Maui right after Christmas for our annual, every other year, travel with the Kelling family....all 9 of us! We spent a week in Kaanapali and enjoyed hotel life. Being pampered by housekeeping and drinks by the pool was amazing. We had the beach right outside our door. Then, we spent the second week in Kihei at our condo. Still amazing but we had to make our own drinks and walk across the street to the beach! Oh how the kids had fun. We didn't do much on this vacation. It was a much needed rest for us after the previous 3 months we had gone thru. Basically we sat by the pool or ocean and enjoyed the sun and good books! We can't wait to see what is planned for Christmas 2012 :) Just sayin....
