DWTS Results ~ this too shall pass

Some of you, many of you, maybe none of you know what a huge fan of Beverly Hills, 90210 I am. For those of you that might be a little lost this is a show that I watched and recorded religiously for 10 years!!! In fact, until we moved in with the in-laws I had every single episode recorded. But, we had no room for 10 years worth of video tapes (but luckily, it is on DVD now...hint hint Santa...just kidding, sort of). One of my new addictions is Dancing with the Stars. I was especially excited when Jennie Garth was going to be on the show. Jennie played Kelly Taylor - the girl who had it all on 90210 and was my favorite on the show! Throughout the last 9 weeks, I couldn't wait to see her dance. I felt like a close friend was dancing and I was at home cheering her on. I phoned in my votes and voted online each week. The last few weeks Shane would laugh at me while watching with me (yes, you can laugh at him for actually watching with me) because he would say that every time Jennie danced I had the nerdiest grin on my face. What can I say? I was so excited for her. She was so enthusiastic about everything and her family was always there to support her.

Apparently our votes weren't enough because Jennie and Derek were sent home tonight. Although the others are also great dancers they aren't Jennie...and Derek. With a little tear rolling down my face, I said to myself "this too shall pass." So, for those of you who didn't know what a nerd I am, you now do. For those of you who know what a nerd I am, thank you for still loving me (I hope)!

We have to be presentable

Pretty sure Auntie Mandy contributed to this laugh
Before...

3.5 seconds later...
Thanks to Jen and her amazing photography we were able to capture another year for a family picture. Of course there will be a surprise (new pictures not posted) in your Christmas cards, but in the meantime I had to create a sneakpeek. We hope you enjoy! Thanks Aunt Jen and Auntie Mandy for making Baker laugh...

Baker ~ The Baker

Do you see the finger? and TONGUE?

And, he's caught......
Baker is definetly his father's son. He is the little cookie monster in the house. Tonight, he wanted to bake cookies for daddy's lunch this week. So, he set out to help me in the kitchen. He sure is a good little baker....and Baker.

Fall Leaves

When you have a bigger yard you generally have more yard work. But when you have a bigger yard with a ton of trees you FOR SURE have more leaves. Good thing Baker likes to rake!

ROAR!!! Don't be scared, it's just Baker....

Our little lion
Group Picture - Gabe, Jake, Baker, Banning (Thomas the Tank Conductor)

Benny, Mama Nay (Renee), Baker and "Grandma" Connie

Baker and Banning checking things out

Baker has mastered ROAR!!! He was the cutest little lion for Halloween. At first he was not a fan of the costume and Koda liked to growl at it. But, he got use to the idea and loved hanging out with Gabe, Jake and Banning for the trick or treating festivities.

Leavenworth Conclusion ~ Just Like Dad

Shane loves being a dad to an energetic 2 year old. That way he can show him all of his cool tricks! And, I love being a mom to them both! What can I say? I love my boys!!! Happy Birthday Babe!!!

Leavenworth ~ Family Fun

We had to get a few family pictures in before we left....After 12 1/2 years, Shane and his parents are getting use to me taking their pictures. Good thing Baker was born with a camera in his face ~ kind of literally.
