Baker and Aunt Gretchen started off bowling and then decided they didn't need the ball any longer. They were more creative with the pins. It was pretty cute because you really couldn't tell who was winning. If you ask Baker he will say he was the winner. Watch our Baker because Aunt Gretchen is a professional....Stay tuned to see if there is a rematch.

I Love You Aunt Gretchen
2nd Annual Cookie Baking ~ With a Special Guest

Making perfect balls....

Helping place the kisses on top....

Perfection...
Baker loves to bake and it is so much more fun when Aunt Gretchen is home to help. Gretch made a quick weekend trip home for our 2nd annual cookie baking (last year Mom, Baker and me surprised her when we flew up to Alaska). It sure is great to have her home, we just need to make sure it becomes permanent. We look forward to seeing Uncle Chad in a week too! Baker misses and loves you both!

Erika ~ with a K
Leavenworth ~ Christmas Lighting Festival

All bundled up as it was a balmy 12 degrees

A little entertainment pre-festival

Alisa and me at our first wine tasting

The beautiful mountains on the way to the next wine tasting

This wine tasting wasn't free but was WELL worth it....the wine was fabulous...all 9 glasses.

Let the festivities begin....

Baker with Aunt Kay and Grandma
We went to Leavenworth for the annual Christmas Lighting Festival. It was beautiful and COLD. Unfortunately, Shane wasn't able to join us because of race team. But, cousin Alisa came along and we all had a great time. Us girls went to town a bit earlier in the day to do some shopping and looking while Uncle Ron and Jim stayed with Baker at the cabin. We all enjoyed the lights, even though it was darn cold (about 15 degrees). By the end our toes were frozen and Baker was ready for "runny mac and cheese".
Still Determined ~ Even At 20 Degrees

Baker was on a mission to play with his t-ball set. I told him that it was snowing outside and we couldn't play unless he got bundled up. So, he took it upon himself to find his boots (notice the pants hiked up to his knees) and new Seahawks hat from Nana and Papa and run outside (I barely got his coat on him). Then, he realized that the t-ball set had been put away so he starting taking the toys out until his found his bat.
