I Think I Can Do That....
Baker loves to say that to us. We will ask him to let Koda off the porch and he stops what he is doing, walks over to the slider and says "I think I can do that." So, I promise you that this weekend I will update the blog with some new pictures. I have some from his first time on skis at Mt Baker a few weekends ago and today he went to the Children's Museum with Grandma and Grandpa. I hope to have a lot of pictures to post. So, I think I can do that....

Fun Times....

What could be more fun in a 2 1/2 year olds life than slidding down the stairs on your belly? Could it be that your Aunt is teaching you the correct methods? Baker and Gretchen had a great time showing us how fast they could slide down the stairs. Thankfully though, Baker knows he can only do this when an adult is watching.

We Limbo....

Chad and Gretchen love games so when I saw that I could buy a 6' inflatable limbo set I was all over it! I knew they would love it too. Once they started blowing it, they didn't love it so much. Shane took over for his sister before she passed out and we were ready to set it up to play. Unfortunately because there are no instructions we didn't realize that we needed to put sand or water in the bottom to keep it from falling over (after we thought about it we thought ~ DUH!). So we just looked at it. Chad and Gretchen left it down here, on accident I am sure, so I will be sure to deflate it and bring it up in February. I know we will need to play it in their house!
Kelling Family Christmas

Baker's favorite movie is now his favorite book ~ "Bambi". Just ask Aunt Kay if he likes it :)

Totally into reading his new book...yep, he's a genius!

Uncle Chad and Aunt Gretchen can't get enough of Baker (just wait until we come up) :)

His own excavator....he's done for the night, he found the perfect gift!

It's so hard to get everyone together at Christmas because we (Shane & I and Chad & Gretchen) have a bunch of families to visit. But, we always plan one day that we can spend together. Unfortunately Shane had to end up working, so our day together was only an evening together. But, we still had a lot of fun and we thank everyone for the amazing presents! We can't wait to put our fire pit to good use and I know that Baker will enjoy his DVD player on the plane ride to Alaska!!!! Oh, and remember the "ERIKA" stickers from Leavenworth? Well, they made it into my stocking! Isn't Santa amazing?
Bowling ~ Toddler Style

Big Boy Shoes

6lbs baby!

STRIKE!!!

Final Score....Daddy 115, Baker 98, Mommy 83 - OUCH!

Chad and Gretchen LOVE to bowl! It is the highlight of their day. If they could, they would bowl 24/7. So, of course with them being home we wanted to go bowl. Who knew that they made toddler shoes and a handy rail (no bumpers for my kid) for toddlers? Baker had the best time and we all had such a great time watching him. Sadly though, he beat me! I think next time, I will use the toddler rail.
