Makenzie is working hard to master the art of tummy time! She does great and is really working hard to roll over...without assistance from her brother :)

Kids Say the Darndest Things
Tonight we were watching the Oscars on and off. Baker came down from getting his teeth brushed to say goodnight. He asked if he could watch until the next commercial and we agreed. Well, Kate Winslet won for Best Actress. Baker looked at her matter-a-factly & said....
"Mom, what happened to that girls bra? Her strap feel off."
-
Shane was behind the newspaper laughing and I tried to hide my laughter behind Makenzie but my big snort gave away the fact that I couldn't stop laughing. It might not be funny to you but if you were here you would have been crying too.

Wii Photography - Baker Style
Glad to see that Andy's priority is straight :) - the beer in hand!
Carly and Andy brought their Wii over for a little friendly competition (Carly kicked my ass at tennis but we went head to head boxing - my arms still hurt!). Needless to say, when you have 2 ladies boxing, 2 men snoring away and a 3 year old trying to figure out what to do...he finds mom's camera. Enjoy some artwork - Baker style!

Play Ball

Baker joined Grandpa at his house for a little game of catch! (sorry about the blurry pictures I was using a loner camera because mine was out of commission) Baker had such a good time and throws like a champ. That is why we officially enrolled him in T-Ball. I can't wait to watch a bunch of 3 year old running around. If you are interested in checking out on of his games let me know and I will set you up with the schedule.

Picture Perfect

Posing....all on her own....she learns early :)

These are just a few shots of Miss Makenzie that were taken after breakfast one morning. She's growing up so fast. Before I know it, Baker will be 4 and she will be 1. Where does the time go? Shane and I are certainly blessed with 2 wonderful children. Did I mention that Makenzie is now sleeping in her own crib (hard adjustment for Mama) and sleeps thru the night for about 10 hours! Really lucky!! Pictures of her room will come soon. It isn't completly finished but she has a really cool piece of artwork that I need to share.

4 Months Already?
Makenzie had her 4 Month check up and that meant more shots! I think I remember from my experiences with Baker that I was going to make Shane be there the 2nd round. I must've forgotten because there I was with my perfect little girl screaming her head off. And then 2.5 seconds later she was finished. Ah....I am so lucky!
.
Here are Makenzie's 4 Month stats:
Weight - 10 lbs, 15 oz = 5th percentile (she was 7lbs, 15 oz at birth)
Length - 23.5" = 10th percentile (she was 19.5" at birth)
Head - 15.5" = 5th percentile (her head was 15" at birth)
.
The doctor assured me that she is growing just fine, she's just going to be petite.
Baker, of course was there to help support his sister thru the shots. He's such a good brother!
