Baker loves to be anywhere Dad is....that means he loves to do anything Dad does....including getting all the leaves into one area. I love the video of him using the blower. You gotta love this kiddo!

A Year Later...
.
Miss Makenzie is a moving machine! Weighing in at just 19lbs she is still very small for her age. She loves to talk (dog, dada, mama, banana, one, that) and she loves to eat a variety of foods - spagehtti, bananas, bread, cereal, oatmeal, pears, apples, peanut butter and jelly, pancakes, eggs, chicken/rice/carrots, mac & cheese, cottage cheese, puffs, mum mum's, berries, melon, beans, corn, loves ice cream and pretty much anything else we give her. She is walking very well these days and loves being mobile! She's got a great personality and loves her big brother!

This Spot...
...should be a little smaller after tomorrow! Kenz has her first surgery on her Aplasia Cutis area on her head. Tomorrows surgery is a little more nerve racking for us because the doctor has to cut thru the veins that are exposed on her head. He called them the branches off the tree trunk. He isn't concerned about the branches because these branches aren't tied to anything. But, he is very concerned because the tree trunk is connected to the main artery in her head. With that scary piece of news and the fact that veins are elastic and once cut could withdraw back into her skull, we will have the best neurosurgeon scrubbed up and ready on stand-by in case anything happens! We trust our doctor immensly and know that Children's Hospital is the best! But....she's still our beautiful little girl that has to go thru this.
Can you tell - she looks concerned!?

Stoney Ridge Farm
When you have to work during the week it is hard to get out to Stoney Ridge Farm. We headed out on a clear, blue Sunday to visit the animals, pumpkin patch, corn maze and apple orchard only to arrive to it being closed. Bummer for us! So, we headed out the next Saturday even though it was pouring. We had a great time and knew this was going to be our only chance to go there. It was cold but we had a fun time! Makenzie loved the pumpkins and Baker loved the mud.
Tickle Monster
Baker is very ticklish and my friend, Yanna, was having a good time with it. Poor Baker....but this kid is FUNNY!
Walking Fool
Remember the days when you would say "I can't wait until they can walk!" Well, I know better and I never said that with Makenzie because I knew that once she started walking it was all over. It's true! She's all over the place! Up the stairs, down the stairs, playing in the dog food and water and so on. And now I foresee talking happening very soon....

-
October has come and gone which means so has Fire Safety Month! Renee (Mama Nee) does such a great job of incorporating things into the kids lives. Fire Safety Month is very important to the kids and they love the field trip to the fire station!
