A Wonderful Day at the Marina

There is nothing more that I love than walking at the marina on a cold, crisp December day with my family!

Cross Christmas

My brothers, Tristan (from Seattle) and Karsten (from NY) came up to celebrate an early Christmas before Mom headed to North Carolina to spend Christmas with my other brother, SIL and nieces. Then, she was off to Florida to her new condo. Tristan wanted a teapot (I know, strange) so we wrapped up Makenzie toy teapot as a gag. Baker thought it was hilarious. Of course we had a wonderful gathering.

Christmas Tree Hunt

Yep, we went out for our annual tree cutting down ceremony. Baker thought we would start with a Charlie Brown size tree. We ended for a little bigger :)

First Snow for 2010-2011

When there is snow, even a trace, my kids want to be in it. I think they inherited that gene from their Daddy. They love to throw snowballs and chase each other. The dog, not so much a fan of the snowballs these days since he can't see them coming, but the snow - oh yes, that makes him one happy puppy.

Just Another Day at the Park

Baker loves his park at the school so when we asked where he wanted to go and ride his bike he immediately said Carl Cozier! The bike riding lasted about 5 minutes and then it was either running, chasing, playing fantasy baseball or playing on the playground! Makenzie loved the monkey bars and Baker loved the tires. They both loved the slides!

Halloween 2010

They love to dig in goo! Below, Makenzie can't believe how much comes out of the pumpkin :)

This year Baker was a ghost and Makenzie was his skeleton! Their friend, Lexie, joined them for the trick or treating festivities that took us to the fire station and then thru the Geneva neighborhoods. Man they get a lot of loot! But, next year I have to find them smaller bags, those FM bags were just too big, especially for Goon.

Stoney Ridge Farm

Makenzie LOVES the apple donuts!

When we went to Stoney Ridge in OCTOBER, we had a great time, just like always. But, this was the first year that the "train" ride happened. Baker was too nervous last year but since Makenzie was gung ho this year he gave it a try! I love that place!
