In Search of the Perfect Christmas Tree

We were in search for the perfect Christmas tree for our new house. Boy was it cold out there with the winds blowing. After walking around for 1 hour (yes, my boys were ready to leave me there) we finally found the somewhat perfect tree. I don't think it is 100% perfect, but it is 98.9%! It is huge! Thank goodness we don't have any furniture in the living room because it sticks out into most of it. And, with all the presents that Santa will bring this is probably a good thing. Again, sorry for the side tilt pictures. Shane thinks our card reader is dead on the computer. I guess I know what I am asking for my birthday....can you say laptop? :)

SNOW!!!!

We were on our way to get our Christmas tree and we had snow! How perfect is that? Baker of course had to run out and play before we left. Again, sorry about the side tilted picture. I need to move some (many) pictures off my memory card for the computer to read it. Then I can have all upright photos again :)

One sweaty little boy!!!

Renee, Gabe and Jake invited us along to Jungle Playland. The boys had a great time. Can you tell from my sweaty little boy? Gabe and Jake are great "big brothers". Sorry for the head tilting shots. I can't get them to rotate....

Thanksgiving 2007 ~ Chefs at work; and the rest of us

The professionals: Mom, Auntie M and Pops

We are so easily entertained....watching Ratatouille

Thanksgiving 2007 ~ Hanging with the Gordon Gang

Noah Gordon
I think Baker is ready to be a big brother....
The question is...who is chasing who??

Elijah Claus
We went to Nana and Papa's this year. Auntie M flew in from New York and Great Nana Marion was there too. Baker and I went over to visit with the Gordon's and meet baby Noah. Elijah and Baker played for a little while but were starting to have a really great time as we had to leave. Hopefully we will see Elijah and baby Noah again soon. Or, maybe they will have to come up here and visit :) Thanks to everyone for making it another great Thanksgiving. It is awesome to spend time with those that you love and get together with people that instantly become apart of the family (ie....Jen/Chris and Misty/Mark).

DWTS Results ~ this too shall pass

Some of you, many of you, maybe none of you know what a huge fan of Beverly Hills, 90210 I am. For those of you that might be a little lost this is a show that I watched and recorded religiously for 10 years!!! In fact, until we moved in with the in-laws I had every single episode recorded. But, we had no room for 10 years worth of video tapes (but luckily, it is on DVD now...hint hint Santa...just kidding, sort of). One of my new addictions is Dancing with the Stars. I was especially excited when Jennie Garth was going to be on the show. Jennie played Kelly Taylor - the girl who had it all on 90210 and was my favorite on the show! Throughout the last 9 weeks, I couldn't wait to see her dance. I felt like a close friend was dancing and I was at home cheering her on. I phoned in my votes and voted online each week. The last few weeks Shane would laugh at me while watching with me (yes, you can laugh at him for actually watching with me) because he would say that every time Jennie danced I had the nerdiest grin on my face. What can I say? I was so excited for her. She was so enthusiastic about everything and her family was always there to support her.

Apparently our votes weren't enough because Jennie and Derek were sent home tonight. Although the others are also great dancers they aren't Jennie...and Derek. With a little tear rolling down my face, I said to myself "this too shall pass." So, for those of you who didn't know what a nerd I am, you now do. For those of you who know what a nerd I am, thank you for still loving me (I hope)!
