While we were skiing, Kristie brought Ella up to enjoy the snow and see everyone. It was great to see both of them! Mom and baby are doing great! And, it was VERY bright so we had to make sure Ella was covered, but Baker was so gentle. He just wanted to take a minute (between runs) and say hi! Shane of course is a natural.

Easter

On an egg finding mission...

The Big One!!!

A little piece of candy...

Frisbee time!

Easter this year was an indoor occassion. The weather just wasn't cooperating...but, who know that the Easter bunny would still hide eggs inside? Baker didn't seem to care, he had a great time finding the eggs (and the goodies inside) and opening his Easter basket from Nana and Papa and the Easter bunny. Nana and Papa drove up for the day and Grandma and Grandpa made the long drive from 1 block over. We even had a special guest, family friend Ginger. It was a great day with great food.

19 Weeks and Counting
Holy cow....this pregnancy seems to be lasting forever. Seriously I feel like I have been pregnant for 9 months already. With my first pregnancy, it flew by. I had that glow, I felt good (except for the first 4 months) and I felt like I didn't have enough time to get ready. This time around I keep thinking "I have plenty of time to get things finished." Maybe because ski season hasn't ended yet (this is the last weekend WAHOO!!!) so we haven't started our many, many projects on the house. Maybe things will start moving along a little more quickly. But, I went in for a doctors appointment about 2 weeks ago and I had lost a pound (YIPEE!). Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't be losing weight. But, I do have more than enough to share with the baby, so I was very excited to lose a pound. I got on the scale this morning and gained 2 pounds....damn it! I just need to make sure that I don't gain a lot. With Baker I gained about 13 lbs, hopefully that will be the trend with this one. I have my big 20 week ultrasound on May 5th and will be sure to update you then. For those of you that know me pretty well, I do not talk about myself easily. But, I will try to be better about posting about "Baby Green." Baker has already named the baby (check that off the list) :)
Technical Difficulty
Hi All! I have received some flack for not updating the blog. With good intentions tonight, I decided to come upstairs and get it updated with pictures...from Easter! I am so far behind. The people that keep up on their blogs amaze me...especially when they have more than 1 child (Jeannette)! Anyways, I went to start uploading pictures and my camera battery died. Well our card reader isn't working on the computer, so I have to hook the camera up to the cord. That means I have to recharge my camera battery before I can do anything! I am really sorry to all my loyal fans that check back on the blog. I really do appreciate it :) This weekend we are going skiing, so I will have even more pictures to upload. I promise, as God as my witness, this blog will be updated by Sunday evening!!!
Please come back and see the updates :)
PS....I am not going skiing. I will be snowshoeing, but Shane and Baker will be skiing. I don't trust myself on skis at 5 months pregnant (nor any other time)! Speaking of 5 months pregnant....

Impromptu Skateboarding Lesson
My parents neighbor, Chris, came over to play with Baker. He skateboarded down from his house and decided to take Baker for a quick spin. Yes, I am fully aware that Baker doesn't have a helmet on. Luckily Chris is a pro and they only were in front of the house, but still that is no excuse. Thanks Chris for showing Baker how to ride but next time we better get the helmet out.
Point Defiance Zoo
Shane was out of town for the Buddy Werner Racing Championship so Baker and I decided to head south to see Nana and Papa. They took us to Point Defiance Zoo. Neither of us have been there and it was amazing. The weather was a bit overcast so there weren't too many people there. The zoo is really laid out well and we had a great time. Baker was running around the whole time and I was shocked that he still had energy when we were finished. But, as soon as we got to the car he decided it was nap time. Thanks Nana and Papa for a great weekend.
