Every year we meet at Camano Island at Shane's mom's cousins house. Brian invites the entire family for a fun reunion. This is the one time of year that all the kids can get out and run! Literally, there are probably 30 kids! This year was a little more quiet but it was a blast. Makenzie got to play with her cousins, Addison and Lisa. Addison is 10 days older than Makenzie and Lisa is 3 months younger. And, Baker enjoyed his time at the water with his older cousins Josh and Jillian. And, Bonnie and Travis were the perfect caretakers of their little cousin.

Lil' Peanut

Makenzie had her 1 year check up and did great - until the shots! She screamed her little head off, was hysterical and in turn I burst into tears. She was shoving the needle away from Nurse Tina and trying to get away. She ended up with a bruise on her leg because I had to hold her down so tight. Oh, my poor baby girl! It's calming to know that at her upcoming surgery she will be "put under" so she won't have to be in pain (at least at that time).

Bathing Beauty

Our little princess now is a bathing beauty thanks to our friend, Yanna! She just looked adorable in her new robe, ready to have a great time in the bath.

Hovander Park

Baker and Katie met up at Hovander Park to check out the animals and the flowers. We had a great time playing in the fields, looking out over the landscape and of course visiting the animals. Hovander is an amazing place to take kids - and it's free!
