Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas. The goal of the gifts was "useful". I think that happened. Santa brought Baker IronMan gear and he brought Makenzie a banana. Both of which were asked for on Santa's lap. Yes, a banana! Don't ask me why she asked for this, but she loves it. The kids got gifts that would be good for traveling on the plane to Hawaii (stay tuned for those pictures). Christmas is exhausting but always fun.

Kelling Christmas

Christmas #2 was held at Jim and Lynn's with all of us. Baker got his full face helmet that he loves. It will come in handy at Whistler when he is on the big runs down the mountain. Makenzie got bike gloves and they both loved the new cardboard box they fit in :)

A Wonderful Day at the Marina

There is nothing more that I love than walking at the marina on a cold, crisp December day with my family!

Cross Christmas

My brothers, Tristan (from Seattle) and Karsten (from NY) came up to celebrate an early Christmas before Mom headed to North Carolina to spend Christmas with my other brother, SIL and nieces. Then, she was off to Florida to her new condo. Tristan wanted a teapot (I know, strange) so we wrapped up Makenzie toy teapot as a gag. Baker thought it was hilarious. Of course we had a wonderful gathering.

Christmas Tree Hunt

Yep, we went out for our annual tree cutting down ceremony. Baker thought we would start with a Charlie Brown size tree. We ended for a little bigger :)

First Snow for 2010-2011

When there is snow, even a trace, my kids want to be in it. I think they inherited that gene from their Daddy. They love to throw snowballs and chase each other. The dog, not so much a fan of the snowballs these days since he can't see them coming, but the snow - oh yes, that makes him one happy puppy.
