With a few hours of being delayed we had a great time in Kona. It was a very fast trip and a lot of car time (the kids HATED the car after this trip). The main reason for stopping in Kona was to see the Volcanoes. Not as exciting as I thought (I was expecting Dante's Peak) but it was cool to see everything! Still to come...Maui

Looks like fun! I want to go back to Hawaii, especially after this week's weather. The big island is a different kind of island for sure!
